Online Reservations For Minnesota State Parks
If you want to explore Minnesota's great outdoors, you've come to the right place.

New in 2008! Beginning June 2, 2008 – ALL camping and lodging reservations can be made up to one year in advance.
Camping Reservations are not needed or accepted for arrival dates between November 1 and March 31.
Most parks have campsites available during this period on a first-come, first-served basis. Contact the individual park for information on campsite availability. Most lodging facilities are reservable year-round.
Gooseberry Falls State Park:
A segment of the Gitchi Gami State Trail (paved bike trail) will be under construction in the park this summer. Campers and other park users should take this into consideration when making plans to visit the park in 2008.
Whitewater State Park Reopening:
Reservations for camping and lodging at Whitewater State Park are being accepted now for the 2008 season.

Firewood Restrictions:
Only approved firewood (purchased locally from an approved vendor or clean kiln-dried lumber) can be brought into state parks. Approved firewood is sold at most parks. Visit

Beginning June 2, 2008 – All camping and lodging reservations can be made up to 1-year in advance. Prior to June 2, campsites can be reserved up to 90 days in advance, and lodging reservations can be made up to 365 days in advance (Minimum of 10 days if paying by check or money order).

On the first day a facility becomes available, reservations cannot be made before 8:00 AM CST.
Pending reservations are held in your shopping cart for a maximum of 20 minutes after which your unreserved selection will be released.

Reservations that were made online may be canceled by logging on to My Account.
Some facilities may not appear due to renovations or seasonal availability.
Intoxicating beverages are prohibited in all Minnesota State Parks.
Pets must be personally attended at all times and restrained by a portable enclosure or a leash not exceeding six feet in length. Pets, with the exception of service animals, are not permitted in any building or lodging facility.
What You Need to Make an Online Reservation
The name, address and phone number of the responsible party for each reserved facility.
The dates for your reservation.
Payment is expected at the time the reservation is made. You will need to provide a valid credit card. Minnesota State Parks accept Visa and Master Card.
For security reasons, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Version 4.5 or higher or Netscape Navigator, Version 4.05 or higher must be used to make a reservation.
Make sure that browser supports Cookies and Javascript and are enabled.
